Tori appears both on the soundtrack album and score ablum of the movie Great Expectations which opened nationwide in the United States on January 30, 1998. The movie was based very loosely on the Charles Dickens classic and was directed by Alfonso Cuaron. The cast includeds Gwyneth Paltrow, Ethan Hawke, Robert DeNiro, Ann Bancroft, and Hank Azaria.

Tori contributed vocal parts to the film's Doyle-composed Finn (which appeared on both The Album and The Score). However, The Score has the complete version of Finn, rather than just an Intro, which seems to contain a little more vocalization by Tori. The second track is Paradiso Perduto, in which Tori performs more wordless vocals just like on Finn. Besides Tori, the soundtrack has performers from the worlds of opera, classical, world music, and jazz, including saxophonist James Carter, pianist Cyrus Chestnut, singer Cesaria Evora, guitarist John Williams, famed soprano Kiri Te Kanawa, and Miriam Stockley.
