Right before Tori performed Frog on My Toe during the Dew Drop Inn Tour in [Dallas, TX on June 15, 1996], she told the story of how she wrote the song after drinking Margaritas and finding a piano. She played a few bars of the song, laughed and said, "No, no, that's not how the song goes!" Laughing even harder she said that the story about the margaritas was a lie. She said, "This whole tour I have been telling people this story, and its not true. I made it up. I just thought I would tell all of you the truth, I don't know why." Then she shrugged, threw her hands up in the air, and continued playing.

She told a story about how she likes a Margarita every-once-and-awhile "1800, single shot". And talked about how one night, she found a piano right after drinking one, and wrote this song [Frog On My Toe], so "don't blame me if it doesn't make any sense."
